From the beginning of the pandemic, the University of Illinois has made clear that the top priority is to maximize safety for our entire community. As we prepare for our 4-H shows during summer’s fair season, we want to reassure you that safety for Extension staff, volunteers, and those we serve continues to be the highest priority. At the time of printing this fair book (March 2022), community levels of COVID-19 are lower and we can allow events in a less restrictive fashion where face masks are not required. In the event that things change, Illinois 4-H will respond to and adjust events in response to evolving guidance as provided by the CDC, IDPH, and University of Illinois. Additional local venue guidelines will be followed. When attending 4-H shows, we ask that you continue to practice good hygiene and social distancing, and demonstrate respect and concern for one another.
