Welcome to the One and Only Jackpot hosted at the Iowa State Fair! Open to ALL Junior Exhibitors NATIONWIDE. Entry fee is $100.00 per head. We are excited to extend our invitation to all Junior Exhibitors 21 and younger (As of January 1, 2023) to Shoot for the Loot! All proceeds, entries, and donations will be added to the Jackpot. Jackpot is currently at $4000.00 and growing by the day. Judge will be the one and only Ryan Rash.

Cattle may arrive August 11, 2023 after 12:00 P.M.

Cattle must be in by 8:00 A.M. on August 12, 2023.

Show starts at 11:00 a.m. on August 13, 2023.

• Heifers Must Be:
  • Owned by June 1, 2023.
  • Registered Limousin or Lim-Flex.
  • The animal should be born between the dates of September 1, 2021 & March 31, 2023.
  • No Cow/Calf pairs.
  • Fitting Rules: NALF MOE Rules Apply.
  • Heifers for this show WILL NOT be released until AFTER the Open Limousin show on Monday- August 14, 2023, as required by the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
  • Entries for this Jackpot close on June 28, 2023.
• MUST BE ENTERED IN THE IOWA STATE FAIR LIMOUSIN OPEN SHOW BY JULY 1, 2023. (Guarantees stall space and additional show opportunity, Enter online at www.iowastatefair.org)

Jackpot payout from funds raised goes as follows:

60% to Grand Champion

30% to Reserve Grand Champion

10% to Third Overall
